This 14-acre development incorporates conservation design principles. It enabled preservation of old growth Norway pines, retained 80 percent of the property as open space, and left over 300 feet of shoreline along the lake undisturbed. Dwellings on the site are cottages with a distinctly Scandinavian design, featuring green rooftops and garages almost hidden from view. Traditional colors of Norwegian rural buildings inspired the choice of the richly red exterior.
